The app does not show my photos

In iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Photos › Moments, choose Full Access or select the photos the app may see. With limited access, only the chosen photos appear.

I deleted a screenshot by mistake

It is in Photos › Albums › Recently Deleted for 30 days. Tap it, then Recover.

I got a new iPhone. How do I get my organization back?

Install Moments and grant photo access. After reading the library, the app offers the most recent backup from your iCloud. You can also pick one in Collections › Settings › Backup › Restore a backup.

An album appeared (or disappeared) in the Photos app

Every special moment has a mirror album in Photos, kept identical to the moment. Removing the star deletes the album, with iOS’s confirmation; the photos stay in the library.

How do I change the language or the icon?

In Collections › Settings: Language and App Icon.

Do my photos leave the device?

No. The app has no servers. To name places it asks Apple Maps about the coordinates in your photos; that is the only data that leaves the iPhone. Details in the privacy policy.
